Description :
g-hydroxybutryric laltone (GHL) can
be hydrolysed into g-hydroxybutryric
acid (GHB), which can be detected by PGD. g-hydroxybutyric acid has been employed as an intravenous anaesthetic agent
since 1960. However, it has been widely abused for its euphoric affects and supposed
sexual enhancement capabilities. GHB has been associated with sexual assault cases
in cities throughout the US. GHB and GHL are usually tested for forensic purposes.
