Description :
Boric acid are toxic and are not allowed to be used in food product. However, some
people still add it into some food, especially fish balls, noodles and agar to prevent
bacteria growth and to increase the food's texture. Due to this trend, testing of
boric acid level in food is required by most food regulation agencies.
As boric acid can be separated far away from the salts (NaCl) in food, boric acid level in
food can be analysed by CE-P1 without interferance from salts.
