CE-L1 is a high performance benchtop capillary electrophoresis instrument which is most suitable for laboratory based analysis.

Its modular design allows flexibility for the discerning user a wide choice of detectors to serve his needs.  There are available UV-Visible, Laser Induced Fluorescence, Conductivity Detectors.  Meanwhile, CE-L1 has been made to be a 'CE-MS ready' system capable of hyphenation with mass spectrometry systems from major vendors.  Detailed specifications of CE-L1 is appended below.

System Features

  • It is a fully automated system. The seamless operations are achieved through the integration of capillary conditioning, sample introduction and electrophoretic separation. 
  • Its low sample requirements gives no wastage of precious samples. 
  • It is easy to use. The sample injection, buffers change, changing of detectors and injection modes, reversing of polarity are all highly user-friendly. 
  • Its reproducibility is achieved through temperature control and the use of high quality materials and parts.  
  • The high resolution is achieved by the built-in high voltage supply of up to +/- 30kV. 
  • Various types of detectors are available to interface to the autosampler:

  • The time savings achieved with our automated data acquisition and analysis when link directly to a notebook or desktop personal computer. 
  •  Its versatility allows it to be used in a wide field of applications. 
  • It separates chiral drugs without any need of expensive chiral columns, and  with higher efficiencies than those achieved by HPLC. 
  • It can be used for analysing higher molecular weight proteins, peptides and DNA than most other commercal CE instruments.
